Hellboy, 300 and Comprehensive Academy publisher Dark Horse Comics wants to bring its series to games with the establishment of a revolutionary Dark Sawbuck Games partition.

As detailed by DH Games' new site, the comics owner wants to expand on its depository library of "over 425 story motivated, diverse and unique worlds and characters". While, yes, this power create space for the first Hellboy game since 2008, Dark Equus caballus wants to flush things off with "experient and less recognised" properties—reimagining them atomic number 3 "gaming first" franchises.

Maybe that's for the best, mind. Hellboy's most notorious videogame outing was generously described by Richard Cobbett as "display the sort of misplaced confidence that ordinarily has the great unwashe leaping off Niagara Falls while flapping their wings really actually hard". The epic red bloke did appear in Unjustness 2, but it'll be riveting to see who Dark Knight can pull out from obscureness to kick down things off.

The publisher hasn't yet successful any formal announcements on what serial publication' it'll be bringing back OR, more significantly, WHO'll be developing these games. Happening its site, DHG simply writes that it is "in busy discussions with the world's top gaming companies to formulate games with our IPs to comprise discharged over the next several eld and across altogether platforms (mobile, Microcomputer, console, and cloud)."

Cheers, Eurogamer
