The Hollywood Reporter notes that the issue was reportedly fixed inside 30 minutes, and "primarily affected viewers on the East Coast due to a connectedness problem with HBO Max's systems."
And so, in early June, the HBO Max tvOS app for the Apple tree Television became incredibly buggy and difficult to use for many customers. HBO Max has been so keen (aside from these errors) that we made information technology our best streaming service overall. That may change if these issues go more disruptive.
